Pastor Bruce has successfully mentored many young leaders whose lives are characterized by integrity and whose hearts have been gripped by the purposes of God for their generation. Seeing a new generation emerge, Pastor Bruce sensed in his spirit that the time had come for him to pass the baton of youth leadership in Rock Church on to the next generation.
While Pastor Bruce is no longer serving as a member of our Pastoral Staff, he and his family, recognizing the importance of a spiritual covering, have submitted themselves to the leadership of this house, desiring to remain actively involved in this church family. Pastor Bruce recognizes that ministry is never an option; therefore, he continues to give his life in ministry. Through Eastern Sky Mission, Pastor Bruce assists and encourages pastors and local churches as he is called.
I’m honored to give Pastor Bruce the highest recommendation, knowing that his ministry would be a blessing to any church and group. Pastor Bruce’s track record of ministry at Rock Church is a testimony of God’s favor upon his life. His public ministry is a reflection of his marriage to his precious wife, Lisa Anne. I love the way they serve, honor and thrive in ministry together. They are a tight unit! If I could think of one word to define Bruce it would be integrity. His character is a platform from which his life expresses itself and launches others. Bruce encourages, exhorts and builds up people wherever he goes; it¹s the way he¹s wired! His strengths are inter-generational, but his focus is on the Joshua and Caleb’s to whom he naturally imparts life! Bruce clearly understands that the only things you keep are the things you give away and he finds particular delight in doing that daily. I have been sending youth to events that Bruce has sponsored for over 20 years which has changed the way they live! He¹s been ministering annually in our church for the past 10 years and we always look forward to his quick wit and solid teaching. Pastor Bruce has been a blessing to me personally as he has supported and mentored me as I began my ministry. He was the catalyst that launched our youth ministries and has always been there to minister to the whole body at Good Shepherd Church on countless occasions. Pastor Bruce is not considered to be a special speaker when he comes to minister to us but as a pastor of our fellowship who has free reign to speak as God instructs him. Among his many giftings, I believe his most special gift is that of an encourager. He is a modern day Barnabas to the church.
The saints of Good Shepherd Church have been enriched by the life and ministry Pastor Bruce has shared with us.
